It’s Time FOR A PEOPLE-FIRST Peekskill

As mayor, I’ll lead a city built for people – where services work, government is open, housing is affordable, and the streets, sidewalks, and parks shine like the riverfront gem we are.

I’m not a polished politician. I’m a dad, a cab driver, and a community builder who’s driven, walked, and biked every street since 2006. I was born in New York City to Dominican immigrant parents, and I’ve made my life in Peekskill. My kids go to our schools, and our family is active in the community. On the Council I strengthened our snow and ice code to keep sidewalks walkable, passed an Affordable Housing Ordinance, and helped secure park upgrades and more bus shelters so the city actually works for people.

I’m running for mayor because the basics still aren’t getting done: trash, sidewalks, transparent government, and housing. As mayor I’ll deliver clean streets, reliable services, and a more affordable, people-first Peekskill, honoring our history while we build what’s next.

The Platform

A CITY BUILT FOR PEOPLE

  • Fix the sidewalks

  • Pick up the trash

  • Clean the streets

  • Paint the crosswalks

  • Create a more walkable and bikeable city

I’ve driven, walked, and biked every street in this city. I know what’s broken and as mayor, I’m going to fix it.

A CITY THAT WORKS

  • Well-run city services like public works, park & recreation, and more

  • Better trash and recycling pickup for our families and businesses

  • Open government, responsive City Hall to families, residents, and small businesses

  • No more backroom politics

Our job is to serve the people. I’ve seen what unaccountable power looks like. I won’t let it grow here.

A CITY THATS AFFORDABLE

  • Affordable housing, reliable services, clean neighborhoods

  • We need to clean up the blight and build smart housing that helps more Peekskill residents afford a place to live

Families like mine are being priced out. I’ve lived it. We need Peekskill to work for us.

HONOR THE PAST & BUILD FOR THE FUTURE

  • We are a riverside gem – Let’s shine like one

  • Invest in our riverfront, downtown, and parks

  • Revitalize historical landmarks and make Peekskill a destination like Monument Park, Lincoln Depot, George Washington HQ, and Fort Hill

We’re proud of our city’s past and excited to build its future.

A CITY THAT PROTECTS ITS COMMUNITIES

Ensure our city police focuses on keeping Peekskill safe for its residents, not directing resources to federal raids

Fear has no place in our community – city services must protect every resident, regardless of background, language, or status.
